20 - 28 September 2005
|Roger G3SXW and Nigel G3TXF made 12,524 CW QSOs (no dups) operating as C21SX and C21XF from the island of Nauru (OC-031) for eight nights from 20 Sep to 28 Sep 2005.
Tnx to Gennady UX5UO for the speedy service with the QSLs!
|The regular breaks in electricity supply of up to eight hours per day (as well as some luggage being delayed by three days) made this operation more challenging than usual. Despite the lack of sun-spots and the poor conditions over 37% of the QSOs made by C21SX - C21XF were with Europe. [Asia 38%, N-Am 22%, Oceania 2% and S-Am 1%]. Log-Search here
QSL'ing : By 31 Oct 2005 (five weeks after the end of the Nauru trip) some 1,200 C21XF QSLs (19% of QSO total) had already been sent either Direct or via the Bureau (in response to E-mails). Check here for the latest DX-Trip QSLing Statistics.
