GR3TXF : Royal Wedding : Special Prefix for the UK : 29 Apr - 9 May 2011
4,200 CW QSOs were made as GR3TXF using the special "Royal Wedding" UK prefix GR. The main bands used were the WARC bands, with bulk of the QSOs being on 30m (1,522) and 17m (1,644).

The last time that the UK was able to use a national special prefix was in 2002 to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee (50 years on the throne). On that occasion the prefix was GQ.

The 2002
GQ3TXF QSL card is shown. A suitable QSL card will also be designed for GR3TXF.
