A weekend which included both the FOC Marathon and the European Union (EU) Contest was the occasion for a trip to Corsica operating as TK/G3TXF. Location was near Calvi on the north coast.

Eight radials on 4BTV over soggy ground.	Narrow gauge (one metre) local railway.	Four-band Hustler 4BTV vertical : 40-20-15-10.

Short Air Corsica flight on ATR-72 from Nice takes about 30 minutes.		Calvi on the north coast of Corsica is well known for its citadel.

A narrow gauge (1 m) railway connects several north coast towns.		Regular ferry services come into Ile Rousse.

This Elecraft K3s / KPA-500 has provided many years of DX service.		Operating as TK/G3TXF in both FOC Marathon and the EU Contest.

Flying back to Nice after a weekend of contesting in Corsica.		TK/G3TXF made 2,000 CW QSOs : FOC 520, EU 980 and DX-ped 500.
