Roger G3SXW, Rob GM3YTS and Nigel G3TXF operated as ZC4SXW, ZC4FOC and ZC4TXF from the Dhekelia SBA (Sovereign Base Area) on Cyprus for a few days in August 92 . The operation (from a disused BFBS transmitter site) was made possible by Mike ZC4MT/5B4MT. The same site was also used to great effect by the ZC4Z CQ WW CW team later in the same year. The August 92 visit coincided with WAE-CW for which ZC4SXW made a winning entry. |
