G3TXF Claimed : QSOs : 1,572, DXCC : 79, States/Prov : 48, Points : 1,176,782, Single-Op Assisted, QRV : 25 hours The main feature of this year's entry in the CQWW 160m CW Contest was the use of a single dipole for transmit. Last year (2019) a major effort was put into installing a 100ft vertical with a large number of radials, however this year it was back to a horizontal dipole, plus the two Beverage receive antennas. |

During the first night (at around 02z) the operator appears to have nodded off for the best part of one hour. During the second night a deliberate break was taken from about 23.30z on Saturday to 03.30z on Sunday. Overall operating time was about 25 hours.
At around 0535z on Sunday there was a medium delay echo, whereby I could hear half of the final "T" of Test echoing back to me.
There was a long list of nice potential multipliers that were heard (or more likely just "seen" on the RBN screen) but that were not worked. These included : A50C, various BYs, C6AEI, CE2LR, CN3W, CO2RQ, EX8M, HC0E, HC2AO, various HLs, HR2/F2JD, HV0A, J68GD, KH7XX/KH6LC, NL7A, LU8DPM (called many times without success!), T6AA, TG9ADM, TK0Y/TK1EP, UK7AL and numerous YBs. |
