Three As Contest Group - G0AAA/p

HF CW Field Day (NFD) / European HF Field Day / SSB Field Day

The Three As Contest Group (Roger G3SXW, Nigel G3TXF and Ian G3WVG) has been entering HF CW Field-Days (NFD / European HF Field Day) for many years. Individually we have been "doing Field Day" since the late 60's!

The Group has operated Field Day from each of the UK's seven 'DXCC countries' (G0AAA/p, GD0AAA/p, GI0AAA/p, GJ0AAA/p, GM0AAA/p, GU0AAA/p and GW0AAA/p).

In recent years the Group has been joined by Steve GW4BLE for the GW0AAA/p operations.

The Group has come first in the Restricted Section on CW six times, and second on CW four times.

However in 2011 GW0AAA/p came first in the Open Section on CW and in 2012 won the 14Mc/s G2YF Trophy operating as GI0AAA/p from Rathlin Island.

The Group has also come first in the Restricted Section on SSB. The most recent win on SSB being in Sept 2012.
