The operation took place while transiting in Guam en route from "Ham Fair" in Tokyo to Yap in Micronesia. The KH2 QTH was the "Inn on the Bay" some 30 miles south of the centre of Guam. Two antennas were used: an HF6V and a tri-band WARC vertical. The base of each of the verticals was within less than one metre of the sea water.
The analysis by continent of the 2,200 QSOs made in Guam was : EU 56.1%, Asia 40.1%, NAm 1.7%, SAm 0.4%, Africa 0.6% and Oceania 1%. The QTH was on the west side of Guam with a good sea take-off to Europe, and was blocked to the USA.

WARC band trapped vertical (one half of a D3W) sitting at the water's edge in Guam. This antenna was used to make 1,200 QSOs on the WARC Bands by KH2/G3TXF during the brief KH2 stopover.
