This was the 55th time that G3TXF has taken part in CQWW-CW in the past 59 years. Sep 25 : Nigel OE5TXF attends meeting at the Steyr Radio Club, but has to leave early because of the SAC-CW Contest. Jun 25 : Nigel OE5TXF displays HF contesting trophies received from the Austrian ÖVSV and presented at the Steyr Radio Club. May 25 : Nigel G3TXF operated from the Åland Islands as OH0TXF for the CQ-WPX-CW Contest. A total of 5,600 CW QSOs were made including WARC Band CW activity just prior to and after the contest. Dec 24 : OE5TXF has fun operating with a simple antenna in the ARRL 10m Contest .Nov 24 : CQWW-CW : G3TXF joined Stig LA7JO, Dietmar DL3DXX, Marek SP3LPG and Sam SM3DYO in Thailand to operate from the Phimai contest station: E2A. On the same trip we visited Champ E21EIC's contest station in Bangkok. Sep 24 : The 2024 FOC International Gala Dinner was held in Guernsey. It was an excellent weekend. Nigel G3TXF took the opportunity to make 1,800 CW QSOs on 30m/17m operating as GU3TXF. Jul 24 : G3TXF was QRV from North Devon for a few weeks during July and August 2024. Participated in several contests including IOTA, EU-HF Championship, WAE-CW, RDA and the YO-DX Contest. These were the last contests from the North Devon Contest location which has been in operation since 1994. The North Devon Contest QTH is now for sale. This was the 54th time that G3TXF has taken part in CQWW-CW in the past 58 years. The UK's 2023 CQWW Dinner was held in early January 2024. Sep 23 : OE5TXF operated in the CQWW RTTY Contest Single-Band on 40m (Assisted) for the second year running with similar results as in 2022. Jul 23 : G3TXF was QRV from North Devon for a few weeks during July and August 2023. Participated in several contests including IARU-HF, IOTA, EU-HF Champ and WAE-CW. Was also active on 17m FT8 using an 80m dipole. Some 8,670 QSOs were made in total (Contests : 3,310 and other : 5,360). Over 5,200 QSOs were made on 17m FT8, just for the fun of it.
